We work with the park’s owner the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. We are in constant dialogue with park management and staff. We have also met with the Mayor, Councillors and senior officers. We raise the concerns and points of interest from park users.
We participate in commercial events consultation, give our feedback & offer input into planning.
Victoria Park hosts 6 days of major events each year (40,000 people) and 4 smaller event days (15,000 people) this contract was awarded to AEG for the All Points East Festival in 2017 and runs from 2018 until 2022 with an extra year by negotiation before the contract is re-tendered.
Our group has been part of the planning and consultation process and we give detailed feedback after the events.
The group opposes any events that fence off the park in the Summer School holidays.
